“The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground.”

— 1 Samuel 3:19

Has God Put Something on Your Heart?

God speaks through all of us — not just ministers, not just seminary graduates, not just people who’ve been in church their whole lives. If He’s placed a message on your heart that could bring even one person closer to Him, this is the place to share it.

Submit your 10-minute sermon below. Our team will review it and, if it’s a fit, we’ll publish it on the site with your name and your story. Your words won’t fall to the ground.

What Happens When You Submit

We don’t have a backlog. We don’t have a 6-month queue. Here’s how it works:

  1. You submit your sermon using the form below.
  2. We reach out within days — not weeks, not months — to talk through your piece.
  3. If it needs polish, we help. We’ll work with you to make it the best version of itself without changing your voice.
  4. We publish it on the site with your name, your story, and a featured image.
  5. We turn it into a video and post it to our YouTube channel so your sermon reaches people who watch as well as those who read.
  6. Already published it somewhere else? That’s fine. Bring it here. We’ll link to your original and ask that you link back to us. Those links help both of us get found by more people.

Your sermon. Your name. Your voice. Published in days.

Frequently Asked Questions

“What are you looking for in a sermon?”

We follow Paul in Philippians 4:8. We want sermons that follow Be a PLANTER — we are looking for writing that is pure, lovely, admirable, noble, true, excellent, right, and praiseworthy. If your sermon lifts people up, points them toward God, and leaves them better than it found them — that’s what we’re looking for. Read more about what PLANTER means in Change the Algorithm.

“I’m not a minister. Am I qualified?”

Absolutely. God works in all of us. You don’t need a title, a degree, or a pulpit. If you have a sermon that can impact even one person and bring them closer to God — you have to share it. That’s not optional. That’s obedience.

“What if my sermon isn’t exactly 10 minutes?”

That’s perfectly fine. Our sermons are 10-ish minutes. They can be a little longer or a little shorter. The point isn’t a stopwatch — it’s a message that sticks with someone all week.

“I keep talking myself out of it.”

Stop thinking of all the reasons why you shouldn’t write the sermon or submit it — and just do it. God didn’t put it on your heart so you could keep it to yourself. It is uncomfortable — you can read Niki’s struggle with this in The Itchy Sweater.

“What will I get out of writing one?”

More than you expect. When you put your faith into words, you end up living it. Writing a sermon isn’t just sharing — it changes you. It makes you dig deeper, think harder, and hold yourself to the standard you’re writing about. You don’t just become a better writer. You become a better Christian. You can read about the unexpected Side Effects that writing sermons had on Niki.

“Can I submit something I’ve already published on my own blog?”

Yes. If you’ve already written something and it’s sitting on your blog, a CaringBridge page, or anywhere else — bring it here. We’ll publish it with a link back to your original, and we ask that you link back to us. Those links help both of our sites get found by more readers. Your words deserve more than one audience. Our mission is to make it easier for believers to walk in their faith. We believe getting short, powerful sermons out to more believers does that.

“Does 10 Minute Sermons work with churches?”

Yes — we would love to work with your church. We help churches give their sermons more reach on your own site, our site, and our YouTube channel. Give it a try for a month and see what it does for your reach. We can send you an example of how it works. Email us and let’s talk.
